Andrew Forstenzer Promoted to Vice President & General Counsel
Forstenzer will be responsible for leading the Company's legal affairs, corporate governance, litigation management and claims counsel.
Preferred Mutual Insurance Company’s Board of Directors has elected Andrew (Andy) Forstenzer as Vice President, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary. In this expanded role, Forstenzer will be responsible for leading the Company’s legal affairs, including government affairs, corporate governance, litigation management and claims counsel.

Prior to Preferred, Forstenzer was Of Counsel to the national law firm of Wilson Elser Moskowitz Edelman & Dicker. He also served as Executive Vice President & General Counsel for the Crump Group, a leading national insurance wholesaler and as Vice President-Senior Litigation Counsel for Marsh & McLennan Companies.
Forstenzer earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, a Juris Doctor degree from Villanova University Law School, and a Masters in Corporation Law from New York University Law School. He sits on the boards of the Earlville Opera House and Insurance Council of New Jersey, is a member of the Massachusetts Insurance Federation and NAMIC State Affairs Committee and serves on an insurance industry cyber advisory group formed jointly by NYIA, IIABNY and PIA. Forstenzer is also a member of the faculty for the Advanced School of the National Association of Professional Surplus Lines Offices (NAPSLO).
