Preferred Mutual’s Charity Auction Raises $1,410 for the Unadilla Valley Food Pantry

Preferred Mutual Insurance Company (“Preferred Mutual”)  raised $1,410 through a charity auction for the Unadilla Valley (“UV”) Food Pantry in New Berlin. The donation will help the UV Food Pantry continue to provide a variety of nutritious food to local families in need.  

Preferred Mutual employees participated in the charity auction over the course of two weeks in April. In the spirit of helping the UV Food Pantry enhance its inventory, friendly bidding wars took place over various items from coolers to luggage.  

The UV Food Pantry is part of The Hunger Coalition of Otsego County (“HCOC”), a nonprofit group that united together as neighbors helping neighbors in the fight against hunger.
