Robert (Rob) Murrer was recently appointed Manager, Customer Experience for Preferred Mutual Insurance Company. In his new role, Murrer guides the company’s comprehensive approach to provide positive agent and customer experiences. Prior to his appointment, Murrer was the Business Services Operation Manager for the company.

Rob received an MBA from the John Sperling School of Business, University of Phoenix, and holds a several certifications and designations including Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB), Chartered Insurance Operations Professional (CIOP), Customer Experience and Analytics Professional (CXAP), Master of Change Management and Coaching (MCMC), and Masters Insurance Operations Professional (MIOP). In addition, he is a Member of the Board of Directors for Commerce Chenango, Member of the Ithaca College Customer Experience Advisory Board, and a Member of the Oxford Lions Club.
