Daniel Thall Appointed Director, Property Claims

Daniel Thall was recently appointed Director, Property Claims for Preferred Mutual Insurance Company. In his new role, he joins the Strategic Leadership Team and will continue to build the Property Claims Field Team and transitioning property claims into Xactimate based programs. Thall will lead both the inside Property Claims Team and the Property Field Claims Team to deliver a superior customer experience. He will also continue his responsibility for the No-Fault Claims Team. 

Dan started working at Preferred Mutual as a No-Fault Claims Intern while in college. In 2006, he returned to Preferred Mutual as a No-Fault Claims Trainee and later worked in Auto and Property Claims units before becoming the No-Fault Claims Manager. Continuing in a management role, Thall became the Property Claims Manager before assuming his most recent responsibilities as the Property Claims Operation Manager. 

Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Roberts Wesleyan College and accreditations from The Institutes for Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Insurance Services (AIS), Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Dan also holds the designation as a Senior Claims Law Associate – Silver (SCLA) from the American Educational Institute.
