Liz has spent most of her career in Insurance Underwriting, with additional experience in Sales.

Preferred Mutual Insurance Company recently appointed Liz Callahan as Personal Lines Underwriting Manager for New York.

She brings with her valuable experience from her previous role at Connecticut’s New London County Mutual Insurance Company as a Commercial and Personal Lines Underwriting Manager. While she has spent most of her career in Underwriting where she said she appreciates the analysis of risk, the changing pace in the Insurance Industry, and the feeling of mentoring someone to explain new concepts, Callahan brings additional experience in Sales.

Liz has completed her Associate in Insurance (AINS) Designation with The Institutes. In her spare time, Liz enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as traveling.
