Dan DeThomas Appointed Senior Manager, Risk and Reinsurance

Preferred Mutual is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan DeThomas as Senior Manager, Risk and Reinsurance, effective August 1, 2026. In his new role, Dan will continue overseeing Enterprise Risk Management, vendor and contract management, business continuity planning and reinsurance. He will also assume oversight of the company’s rate filing and regulatory compliance activities, creating greater alignment between compliance and risk.

During his 15 years with Preferred Mutual, Dan has served in several areas of the organization, including Internal Audit and Accounting, building broad experience across the company’s finance, risk and compliance functions. 

Dan’s extensive organizational knowledge and cross-functional experience position him well to provide focused leadership across these important areas
