Lori Hubiak Appointed Vice President of Claims
Lori has been instrumental in driving the success and efficiency of the property claims operations.
Preferred Mutual is pleased to announce the appointment of Lori Hubiak as Vice President of Claims, effective August 1, 2026. In her new role, Lori will provide leadership for Preferred Mutual’s Claims organization and help advance key priorities supporting the company’s 2029 Strategic Plan and beyond.
Lori joined Preferred Mutual in 2011 as a No-Fault Claim Representative before moving to the liability team. She has since held several leadership roles, including No-Fault Manager, Business Service Unit Manager, Property Manager and, most recently, Director of Property Claims. In that role, Lori oversaw the desk and field property teams, as well as the company’s independent adjusting staff, and played an important role in driving the success and efficiency of property claims operations.
Lori holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Business Management from Wells College and numerous professional designations in claims, insurance, operational excellence and change management. Her extensive claims experience, proven leadership and commitment to excellence position her well to lead the organization in this expanded role.
