Tom Donahue Appointed Vice President of Product Strategy

Preferred Mutual is pleased to announce the appointment of Tom Donahue as Vice President of Product Strategy, effective August 1, 2026. In his new role, Tom will lead the development and execution of the company’s product strategy, including its product vision, roadmap and requirements for success. He will also continue monitoring the competitive landscape and identifying opportunities to improve results while responding to a rapidly changing marketplace and economic environment.

With more than 15 years of experience in the insurance industry, Tom has held several roles across underwriting and product. Throughout his career, he has developed a strong record of collaborating with cross-functional teams and building relationships with internal and external partners. 

Tom holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Le Moyne College and several professional designations, including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter. His experience, strategic perspective and collaborative approach position him well to help advance Preferred Mutual’s product strategy and support the company’s long-term priorities.
